American Scofflaw
I am as eager as anyone else to see the permanent duopoly of the Republicans and Democrats. But, I am concerned that third party candidates in this election, while unable to actually win, might shift the outcome. How much of this third party push is Karl Rove's doing?
On September 10, 2008, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) called a press conference, in Washington, D.C., at the National Press Club. Joining him at the event were Cynthia McKinney (Green Party), Pastor Chuck Baldwin (Constitutional Party) and Ralph Nader (Independent Party). All three are candidates for president on Third Party tickets. Rep. Paul submitted four areas of agreement, The Principles, on which the three candidates, and also Bob Barr (Libertarian Party), who wasnt present, have come together on in a display of unity for the good of the Republic.
