The water was so foul-tasting that the troops had to pour kool-aid and other flavorings into it to be able to drink it. Of course, with all that sugar it is less able to deal with dehydration. So what we did is buy a Britta water pitcher and a whole case of the filter cartridges to send to him, and what with the number of soldiers using the pitcher the cartridges only lasted a few days each. Still, for those people who still have family over there, this is a good thing to send them.
