Not around here! And I will wager not around you. Historically January sees a major rise in unemployment as the holiday seasonal help are handed their pink slips. In theory, Net Birth/Death (of companies) adjustment, another statistical manipulation of dubious purpose, drops an average of 335,000 jobs in January.
The first rule of propaganda is that it must be believable, and this claim that the US gained almost a quarter million jobs in January makes no sense at all, and is not backed up by simple observations in our own neighborhoods.
