Turns out there were none. Then we were told the Iraq war was all about revenge for 9-11. Now we have George W. Bush on video admitting Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 (which we already knew anyway).
Then we were told the war in Iraq was because Iraq was supporting Al Qaeda, but this claim was based on a single confession extracted under torture and was absurd on the face of it since Saddam's was a secular government and Al Qaeda (whoever they really turn out to be) is always screaming about theocratic rule.

None of the objectives for this war were achieved because they were never achievable. We spilled the blood of our children across the sands of Iraq for nothing, and now we are being asked to leave.
I don't see any victory here, Mr. McCain. I don't see any gains at all worth the loss of any more young Americans.
