The fact that the US had aerial drones flying over Iran is a pretty good indicator that. Although one got shot down by the Iranian military Iran said Sunday that it shot down a US stealth drone near the country's eastern border, but US officials in Afghanistan said the craft could instead be an unmanned reconnaissance plane that veered off course and crashed last week. However, I would like to remind our readers that Russian leadership, led by Sergei Lavrov, has very carefully reiterating that any attack against Iran would be a terrible "mistake", fraught with unintended consequences.
Unfortunately, just because something would be the most ill-considered, ham-fisted, unintended-consequences rich, and just plain catastrophically stupid thing the US government could do right now, is absolutely no guarantee they won't do it!
