As I mentioned the other day, there is both a lot of creativity and imagination in LA, but also a lot of pain, anger, and frustration which can boil over into civil unrest, sparked by any major upset.
One only has to remember the events leading to the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles to understand that. The Rodney King Riot of 1992 occurred in response to a highly publicized incident of police brutality. Rodney King, who had worked as a Dodgers Stadium usher, was arrested on charges of speeding, driving while intoxicated, and failing to yield.
