This goes back to the warning made by Sun Tsu in "The Art of War" that the army with the moral law on their side is the army that wins.
Once again I will predict that the US will lose this war. The US lacks "Three Ms", Money, Manpower, and Manufacturing, all of which are needed in copious amounts to fuel a major war.

Of course, the bankers who profit from war care not which side wins or loses, as both sides go into debt to fight the war and further into debt to rebuild from the war. It is easy for the bankers to change which flag hangs from the front of their counting houses. It is to them, after all, merely colored cloth.
