Congress needs to quickly move to slash entitlement spending on programs such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid!?!!

The Gay Secretary

Whoever wrote this does not understand: Social Security and Medicare are NOT "entitlements": US citizens have been paying into these systems from the time they start to work until they retire.

The Federal Government has used up these funds, and now has nothing with which to pay back the taxpayers who paid into these programs. This is why these benefits are now being characterized as "entitlements."

The Federal government should simply say that there is no money left in the systems, they are becoming bankrupt, and that henceforward, the money we USED to think was coming back to us in Social Security and Medicare is simply another lousy tax, from which We the People will get...absolutely nothing!

There, THAT clears it up, doesn't it?!?
