American Scofflaw
Memo to those in the bowels of power in the White House, Congress, Pentagon, and State Department: this is a war the US may well not win, for the following reasons.
1. We have offshored much of our manufacturing infrastructure, so the resupplying of critical materials cannot happen quickly enough to assure we can win.
2. We don't have the troop strength to make this happen, without a sudden reinstitution of the draft, and I mean, as of tomorrow.
3. With our downgraded credit rating, and coupled with a huge Federal deficit, what financial entity in its collective right mind would loan us the money necessary to fund this war?!?
4. Such a conflict may go nuclear very quickly, and China is a nuclear-armed country. A nuclear war with China is a really, really bad idea.
