What recovery? I certainly do not see it anywhere around here. Last Saturday as I drove along Charles St. from Chinatown to Peabody , I saw block after block of empty storefronts; an unbroken chain of broken dreams.
The local media love to tell us the hotels have a 90% occupancy rate, but neglect to mention all the hotels that have gone out of business.
The only place in Recovery is Wall Street! And Bernanke wants an extension of his license to counterfeit to keep the party going a bit longer.
