A federal judge Thursday eliminated the prison sentence of a former Defense Department analyst convicted of passing government secrets to two employees of a pro-Israel lobbying group and to an Israeli government official.
Ellis was either bought or threatened on this, or some combination of both, to have eliminated Franklin's sentence.
There is no absolutely no logical reason for him to have done this, given the evidence in the case.
But you can almost bet a whole US American cent on the following; had the case not involved AIPAC or Israel, Franklin would still be cooling his heels in prison.
