A Crook Apologizes, Sort Of

American Scofflaw

The State as the most efficient criminal gang humanity has ever created has masked this robbery. People do not see the gun because the robber hides it in his cloak of Red, White, and Blue. It is not until the tribute is not paid that the guns are pulled; but the minds of the people have been so corrupted, they believe that the guns are justified. They have come to the perverse conclusion that it is immoral not to pay taxes. Does any one think it immoral to refuse to hand over money to a bandit? Surely it may not be wise to resist for the bandit may kill you, but this does not mean that it is immoral to resist robbery. Yet this is what many people feel about tax evaders; they are criminals because they refuse to pay the tribute.

Here is an example of this perverse idea that to not submit to robbery is immoral. Secretary of Treasury designate Tim Geithner has apologized for not paying his taxes:

"I have paid what I owed," Geithner said under grilling from Grassley. "I apologize to the committee for putting you in the position of having to spend so much time on these issues."

Actually, Mr. Geithner, you don't owe anything. To apologize to the State for not paying taxes is like apologizing to a robber for not handing over your wallet fast enough. You may do so in an attempt to save your life, but you know that you are one being violated. Of course, Mr. Geithner is trying to gain entry into the State, so he must apologize to the mafia for withholding payment. But the masses will read this article and think, "Good. I'm glad to know he feels sorry for breaking the law." This brainwashing of the masses is simply the best form of slavery any oppressor could wish for.
