American Scofflaw
The Big Lie about capitalism is that everyone can be rich. That was never possible. Capitalism only works when there is an imposed wealth differential. Only a small percentage of people can be allowed to be rich.
The vast majority are INTENTIONALLY kept poor to keep them working at the thousands of dull and dreary jobs our society requires. That is the real function of taxes. They are the impoverishment mechanism.
Taxes are not collected to fund the government so much as to force you to keep working by preventing the accumulation of wealth within the lower and middle classes. This is why you see so much tax money wasted on foolish endeavors too numerous to elucidate here.
